Jo Harman Bsc (Hons) Sports Therapist MSST, MSTA

I established Rise Sports Therapy in November 2011, having graduated from the University of Gloucestershire with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy.

I am a member of, and fully insured with The Society of Sports Therapists, as well as a member of The Sports Therapy Association. In April 2014, I became Sports Trauma Management trained to gold level with Lubas Medical.

I have always been interested in sport, and away from the therapy, I enjoy to participate in a range of sports and activity. I used to play football, which I had been playing from a young age and throughout my years at University. I also play stoolball (a Sussex game, best described as a mixture of cricket and rounders!) in the summer months, and am keen to get involved in new sports that I haven’t participated in before. As well as playing, I enjoy to watch most sports, whether this be live or through media, and was fortunate enough to attend both the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London in 2012 as a spectator.
